Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Cornerstone is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to make true disciples. With this, they can go  throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support as well as to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Kevin McClure, Senior Pastor

Pastor Kevin McClure has ministered for over 20 years and attended Liberty University to further his ministry education.  As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Kevin has a passion for carefully unpacking the truth of Scripture and does so in an exciting way! He has served at Cornerstone Family Worship since the birth of the church in his home on October 16, 2005. Kevin and his wife have three children and four grandchildren who all support and learn from him.

Michael Marler, Community Pastor

Michael Marler is a Charlotte native who currently lives in Mt Holly with his wife Brandy. They have been married since August 12, 2006 and have two children: Jaxson and Jaylie. Michael serves as the Community Pastor here at Cornerstone Family Worship as well as works full time as a fireman.
